Open to Artists from Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Louisianna and Mississippi  that are 18 years of age or older.  Coppell Arts Council will award a stipend to up to 10 professional sculptures that are appropriate for public viewing and supports the family / community oriented values of Coppell.  Sculptures are owned by the artist and are loaned to the exhibit for a two year period.  CAC is conducting fundraising to purchase a sculpture and gift to the town.  All sculptures musts be safe for a public setting and made of materials that can withstand the harsh Texas weather and not require any maintenance.  The honorarium is $1,800 dollars with an additional $500 awarded to the People’s Choice.  Due to the scale and openness of the park large, monumental sculptures are encouraged.

The City of Navasota and The Arts Council of Brazos Valley invite artists to apply for a six-month residency in Navasota, Texas! The Artists in Residence will have an opportunity to live, work, and exhibit in the historic Horlock Home in Navasota, Texas, which includes living and studio space for each of the three selected artists as well as a retail gallery space. The residency period is six (6) months from early/mid-September 2022 to late February 2023

The City of Navasota will provide amenities including living/studio space, retail gallery space, internet, cable, and utilities free of charge to selected artists to provide artists the opportunity to create and sell their work. Each artist will also receive a one-time $600 stipend at the beginning of the residency to assist with groceries, fuel, and supply purchases.

The Bryan Artist in Residence will have an opportunity to live and work in a home located right in the heart of Downtown Bryan generously donated by BCS Modern. The selected artist will live in a 1140 square foot apartment.  Housing will include utilities (water, electricity, and internet). The Alexandria Museum of Art invites you to celebrate their signature arts event, the Farm to Forest Plein Air Festival. This four-day festival will bring artists to Central Louisiana to paint “en plein air” – outdoors!

Artists will be able to paint the historic downtowns of Alexandria, Pineville and many surrounding small towns; all areas of Kisatchie National Forest including Kincaid Lake, Longleaf Vista among others; surrounding farms, nurseries and scenic areas. This is a call for photographic imagery that focuses on the human body as depicted in hand-made prints using alternative photographic processes. Public or private spaces, full-body or partial bodies, nude or clothed, self-images or of others… male, female, non-binary, emotional, intellectual, confrontational, questioning, spiritual, sexual, sensual… All forms of exploration are welcome including images that examine subjects such as identity, intimacy, love, sexuality, gaze, social and cultural structure, beauty, ritual, and voyeurism..

Digital photographic images can be used in combination with other processes, but straight digital prints will not be accepted.  3D and experimental work is encouraged.
