Featuring Mickey’s Watercolors
And Laurie’s Poems written about them.

SAVE THE DATE: On December 6th, our very own Richardson Civic Art Society member, artist and past president, Mickey Archer, along with poet, actress and teacher, Laurie Coker, will be signing copies of their book “Rhymes and Reason” from 2 pm to 7 pm at the Wylie Fine Art Gallery. The book contains a collection of Mickey’s award-winning watercolor paintings and Laurie Coker’s poetry about those paintings. This beautiful book would be a fine addition to every artist’s library, and a signed copy would make a wonderful Christmas gift.

Mickey is a retired architect and past president of the Southwestern Watercolor Society and the Richardson Civic Art Society. He is also a signature member of SWS, Texas and Neighbors and the Western Federation of Watercolor Societies.

Laurie Coker grew up in Sherman, graduated from Austin College and now lives in Austin where she is an actress and school teacher. Laurie will be giving readings from “Rhymes and Reason” as well as a selection of her other poems.
