Best of Show was awarded to artist Amy Werntz for her oil “The Shopper”. The IAC Award of Excellence went to Mihee Nahm for “Committing to Memory_Slide”, a work in oil. $8,300 in cash was awarded in five media categories to 25 artists. For a full view of awards see below.

The latest Signature Artist award winner is Steve Danner — it’s an award honoring those artists who have the distinction of showing in the Texas & Neighbors competition at least five times. For the list of the 105 Signature Artists, click here.

The exhibit was juried by Susan Roth Romans and Jordan Roth and represents works from regional artists residing in Texas and the four surrounding states. It continues at the Irving Arts Center through June 16, 2019.
