Thursday, August 29    Friday, August 30   Saturday, August 31
9:00 a.m – 4:00 p.m.

Portrait painting is never easy! However, there are proven techniques that will make the path to excellent portraits easier to navigate. This workshop will revisit many fundamentals that will help attendees gain confidence in developing or refining their portrait painting skills. If you are early in your journey in painting portraits, you will find this workshop super helpful for developing good practices for painting a portrait from start to finish. Not having an understanding of proven techniques and process could hold you back in your progress as a portrait painter

If you have experience painting portraits, this workshop will be a great reminder and reinforcement for good practices that will enhance your portrait painting skills. Workshop format will include demos, exercises in creating likenesses, achieving accurate facial features, color mixing for flesh tones and more. Multiple models will be present for live paining. If you have taken one of my workshops before, there will be new exercises and content this time. Workshop goal: Attendees will leave with reinforced good practices for approaching and mastering portraits to the level they desire.

The cost for each 3-Day workshop is $350. A $100 deposit will hold a spot for you. Space is limited, so the workshop   will be limited to 6 participants, allowing for a lot of individual instruction. The deposit and/or full payment can be easily made online here.

Or go to www.legayportraitpainters.com/workshops

Once you register, a detailed outline of the workshop will be forwarded to you along with a basic materials supply list…nothing extraordinarily unusual.
