May 24 Intro to Glass: Three Nesting Plates Class
Thursday, May 24, 6:30-9pm
Location: 817 W. Davis #110 Street
Instructor: Larry Pile
# of Students: 4-12
Under the supervision of artist Larry Pile, students will learn about kiln glass techniques and then will create a lovely trio of nesting kiln glass plates, suitable for display, serving or giving. Students can make matching sets or make each of the three plates differently, using fusible glass supplied by the instructor. Students will learn about color theory, learn to cut and arrange glass and will learn a bit about design skills.
The sets of three plates will then be fired & slumped (shaped) in the instructor’s Kessler Park studio and returned within 14 days. Fun, unique and one-of-a-kind!
