Visual Art League of Lewisville Holds Fund Raiser at Fish City May 2


On Tuesday, May 2nd from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. the Visual Art League of Lewisville will hold a fund raiser at Fish City Grill, 2628 Long Prairie Road, Flower Mound.

Enjoy a delicious meal while supporting VAL.  15% of all sales that day will go to VAL to be used for scholarships, programs, etc.

Also, there will be  artwork displayed by members of the League and there will be a silent auction for these items.

Infinite Kamme Art Scholarship Art Show and Gabby Devore Benefit call for artists

We are still accepting submissions for artists to be a part of the juried exhibition in the gallery and/or have a booth in the Art Fair in the Square to benefit both the endowment of the Kamme Art Scholarship administered by the Sanger Education Foundation and Gabby Devore, the first recipient of the scholarship this year who was in a car accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury.

SWS Annual Fundraiser May 10



Southwestern Watercolor Society May Annual Fund Raiser

Doors open 6:30pm, May 10, 2016

Location: Lovers Lane Methodist Church, Ashbury Hall, 9200 Inwood Road, Dallas, Texas
(northeast corner of Northwest Highway and Inwood Road.)

May is our big annual fund raiser where funds are raised to help support the Annual SWS Membership Show and other SWS activities.
The Live Auction will be headed up by auctioneer Jonesy McConnell and he will auction original paintings by the following artist:

The Silent Auction will include the personal art book libraries of Jane Jones and Jo Taylor, which includes over 350 art books. Also, Please donate your art supplies, art gear, art CD’s, and other art related art items to the silent auction. Please bring items to the May SWS meeting. Doors open at 6:30pm. Get there early.

Call for Artists for Sunset Soiree Silent Auction – deadline March 10


The Friends of the Bath House are pleased to announce an open call for submissions to our 2nd Annual Silent Auction. This auction is an essential element of the festivities planned for the April 16, 2016,  Sunset Soirée, and Evening at the Bath House fundraiser, benefiting the Bath House Cultural Center.  

We are very honored that this year’s competition will be juried by outstanding professionals from the DFW art and art business community, Michael Heinlen of JM Gallery and Elaine Taylor of the Fort Worth Community Arts Center.

Create and give back to the community this holiday season! You are invited to submit a tree, wreath, or two-dimensional artwork for silent auction and display in the Frisco Art Gallery at the Frisco Discovery Center, 8004 N. Dallas Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75034.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of any tree or wreath goes to CASA of Collin County, whereas thirty percent of the proceeds from the sale of any tree or holiday-themed two-dimensional art piece will go to CASA, with the remaining seventy percent going back to the artist.

Frisco Arts is partnering with the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco to offer a holiday exhibition in the Frisco Art Gallery with a silent auction to benefit CASA of Collin County. 100% of the proceeds from the sale of any tree or wreath will go to CASA of Collin County. 70% of the proceeds of the sale of any two-dimensional piece of artwork will go to CASA, with 30% going back to the artist. Open-house reception on Dec 8, from 2-5PM.

Bespoke Late Night May 4


Dallas Contemporary announces BESPOKE – an artist focused event and primary fundraiser for the museum’s exhibitions and learning programs. Bespoke will be held SATURDAY 4 MAY 2013 at 19.00 (7.00 PM).

More than 300 specially invited guests will join CHAIRMAN MICHELLE MOUSSA in celebrating the museum’s commitment to contemporary art, culture and learning programs. Guests will enjoy a white glove dinner and live auction of luxury items and art with a focus on design. PHILLIPS contemporary auction house of London/New York will be providing auctioneer services for the high energy live auction. JOHN POMARA will
lead the artistic vision of the evening as Artistic Director – working with artists to create installations especially for Bespoke. Design Direction will be led by GRANGE HALL.
