NEW GRANTS PROGRAM

gdac-logo-stacked-1024x398

The Greater Denton Arts Council has launched a new and improved Arts Grants Program this spring, expanding it to include ARTIST MICROGRANTS for individual Denton artists and COMMUNITY ARTS GRANTS for non-profit arts organizations.

In order to further fulfill our ongoing mission to support the arts, the Arts Council has streamlined the application process, increased fundraising efforts, and opened eligibility to include local artists working in any medium.

Successful grant applicants will be awarded a maximum of $500 per artist or $5,000 per organization to support arts-related projects and programs in Denton County. Applications are currently available online at dentonarts.com/grants. The deadline to apply is 5 pm on April 29, 2016.

For more information about the Arts Grants Program, or to find out if you or your organization is eligible, go to dentonarts.com/grants.
