Naomi Brotherton is a 12 year victim of Macular Degeneration, but with monthly treatment and determination she is able to paint and teach watercolor painting at Artisan’s Studio in Farmers Branch. Using her peripheral vision she has learned to “scan” to know where to place the brush and to see the whole painting.
A native Texan, in April Naomi will be 96 years of age but has determined that she is not yet ready for retirement.
