Considering the Artist Seminar  An established artist will be invited to share his or her insights into the Figure Drawing motif. The sessions will be an opportunity for participants to become acquainted with various and different approaches to working from the model. These sessions will begin with the invited artist giving a brief presentation, with images of his or her work, that explains the way in which he or she approaches the observation-based drawing situation. The artist will, for instance, discuss his or her choice of pose, length of pose, materials, size of drawing, vocabulary and types and degrees of abstractions employed. The presentation will be followed by three hours of drawing where participants draw alongside the invited artist.
