The Hard Sell (DIY Punk Show) Jan. 13 in Bedford


The Hard Sell brought to you by Central Arts of Bedford will showcase multiple styles of art with the idea that anything is punk if you say it is! The DIY punk show will exhibit over 20 local artists of all forms of art to be complimented by performance art from Shara Hammitt as well as live music from The Owl and The Octopus. Surprise closing performance of the Punk variety will close us down! The event runs from 7-11 Friday the 13th at C.A.B. located at 2816 Central Drive, Suite #140 in Bedford.  Always free to attend and complementary wine will be served.

Arts Open Call Marketplace Sales


Festival Hall, Patterson-Appleton Arts Center, Denton TX

March 4 – April 16, 2016, FREE

Arts Open Call welcomes artists from across North Texas for an interactive installation at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center in historic downtown Denton. Displayed floor to ceiling in the grand hall of the city’s former power plant, approximately 200 artworks were submitted. Selected works will become part of our online marketplace. 50% of the sale of artworks will benefit the exhibition’s artists while remaining funds will support the education programs of the Greater Denton Arts Council.

Salvaged – Finalized Jury and Call for Art (Deadline 3/15)


The Frisco Art Gallery is hosting an exhibition of two and three-dimensional works in a variety of media for the month of April. The catch? Each piece must be consciously constructed with materials that are reused or repurposed and/or with non-toxic, “all natural,” organic, or otherwise “green” mediums.

the long and short of it Friday, Jan 24 at 8pm We are excited to announce our next adventure; Another Look at Dallas presents, The Long and Short of It, a quarterly topical creative experience at Two Bronze Doors. Each quarter we will curate an event in which we will choose a topic and ask artists and creatives alike for submissions. The topic for our first event is: What does Dallas mean to you?
