About Don Sibley:
Don Sibley has been a graphic designer for over 35 years, most of that time spent as partner in the nationally acclaimed firm of Sibley Peteet Design in Dallas. Founded in 1982, the studio was featured in CA magazine just five years later. Don’s work has been profiled in virtually every prominent design annual including Communication Arts, AIGA, New York Art Directors, Graphis, HOW, etc. He has been honored with a Clio, inducted as an AIGA Fellow, and received the DSVC “Golden Egg” for Lifetime Design Achievement. He has also enjoyed success as a writer and photographer. In 2004, Don began to split his time between managing his Dallas design firm and running a fine art gallery in San Miguel de Allende that specialized in contemporary Mexican art. For the past couple years Don has operated Sibley Design Office where he frequently indulges his passion for creating and designing books, many of which deal with his personal interests: art, design, travel, the Mexican culture, photography, cooking, and all things right brain … or left field.
