Kettle Art Presents: For the Love of Kettle Feb. 3

“For the Love of Kettle” is one of the most highly anticipated events of our year. This one night only, annual fund raiser keeps Kettle Art Gallery operating in the black, allowing us fifty-one weeks per year of eclectic, North Texas-based, cultural programming. Over one hundred and fifty 9 x 12 works will be available for just $50.00 each, all created by artists who exhibit with and support this gallery. There are no previews or pre-sales available to anyone, so please arrive early and grab a place in line, as the doors open promptly at 7:00pm on Saturday, February 3. (2650-B Main Street, Dallas, TX 75226)

About Kettle Art Gallery:

Kettle opened in 2005 as an independent effort intended to restore artistic vibrancy to the Deep Ellum neighborhood, and is recognized nationally as the unofficial cultural center of Deep Ellum. Each year, the gallery produces a minimum of a fifteen art-related events, maintains an active  roster of approximately forty artists per year, and serves as home to the Deep Ellum Wine Walk.

7.7 Commemorative Live Mural Project

In collaboration with WFAA-TV, last week the Creative Arts Center of Dallas organized a community-focused live mural painting project as a way to pay tribute to the five officers who lost their lives on 7/7/16. We would like to thank the many artists and volunteers who spent the day in the July heat working on this mural, with a special thank you to the lead artists Lynn Armstrong & Katrina Doran.

The mural will be auctioned at the Celebration of Service Gala, Saturday July 15, 2017 at 6 pm, with all funds from the auction set to be donated to the Fallen Officer’s Foundation.
