Join the “spacey” crew at Against the Grain for an evening of celebrating the ‘Art of Science Fiction’ with local emerging artist Heather Mac for a completely different methodology in mixed media and more. We will be showcasing Heather’s unique translation on one of the most popular of genres, science fiction, focusing on the fandoms of Star Wars, Star Trek and Doctor Who to create some interesting fan-art. This will be a fun-filled event for the entire family! View Heather’s amazingly different sci-fi art, bring the kids in to join the coloring contest (prizes awarded) & join in the cosplay (dress-up) to win even more prizes. Pack up your space crew and beam on over to Against the Grain for a truly geeky evening of sci-fi fun and art! (Hey, they totally go together!)
