Midtown ARTwalk promotes local visual art and artists in a wide range of mediums and artistic style, including painting, sculpture, metal art, handmade jewelry, fiber art, photography, pottery, and glass works.

Midtown ARTwalk is a fine art and entertainment event that takes place the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Gallery at Midtown & Artist Studios, located inside Valley View Center, Dallas, Texas. Midtown ARTwalk is open to the public and is a fun, free, family friendly environment to experience some of the finest artists in Dallas, Texas.

The BIG & small Exhibit

The Small Gallery invites you to an opening reception of ‘The BIG & small exhibit’ – opening on Saturday, November 21st, from 6:00-9:00 pm.

While searching for artists for the previous “Fresh Faces 2×2” show where the format was 2ft x 2ft,  some of the replies received from artists were, “I don’t work that small” or “I don’t work that big”.  This exhibit will feature both BIG, and small works!

This event is free and open to the public. You can find us located in the west wing of Dallas Midtown (Valley View) at 13331 Preston Rd. (LBJ & Preston) in Dallas.

Percolate – a caffeinated exhibit

Join us for ‘Percolate‘ – an art exhibit that intends to stimulate awareness of our local arts culture through creative interaction in a casual, parlor style setting. Opening Reception is Saturday, November 21, from 6:00 – 10:00 pm.

  • OPEN MICif you’re a poet, stop by and share a reading with us! Even if you’re not a poet, we’ll have some poetry books on hand, in case you’re feeling inspired to try the open mic.
  • ART DEMOcome meet Slant team member and talent, Laurie Mahoney, and learn how she creates her unique, felted artwork.
  • SKETCHwe’ll have sketch paper, pencils, and a still life set up, so sit and stay awhile, and feel free to sketch.
    PERCOLATEhave a cup of coffee on us, and hang out and enjoy the atmosphere, brainstorm, share ideas, or even practice your art critique technique. We aim to inspire you!PARTICIPATING ARTISTS:
