Brookhaven College Student Art Sale & Fundraiser Dec 7

goblets

The Art Kids at Brookhaven College Are Crazy/Busy Gearing Up For Their ONLY Student Art Sale and Fundraiser Of The Year!

And when I say “Kids,” I mean students aged from 17-75!
Something fabulous is going on at Brookhaven College! The energy is palpable- the music is blasting in the sculpture courtyard while sparks fly from metal,
pottery wheels whirl in Clay, waxes are finely carved and cast in Jewelry, blocks are inked in Printmaking, and students stand for hours before their easels,
absorbed with color, light and shadow in Drawing and Painting.

The Particulars:
Student Art Sale and Fundraiser, hosted by the Art Club of Brookhaven College
When: Wednesday December 7, 9am-6pm.

Where: On the campus of Brookhaven College, in the lobby of “S” building (Student Services building)
Featuring: handmade jewelry, ceramics, printmaking, photography, drawings, painting
How shoppers can pay: cash or check.
Free admission and plenty of free parking.

Why You (and everybody else) Should Shop At Our Sale:
This isn’t the typical week-end craft sale/carnival being held by every church and elementary school this time of year-
“We ain’t stringin’ beads”- as one longtime metalsmith student told me. This is a sale of art and fine craft by budding artists passionate
about their work, developing their own voice, as well as experienced artists who have taken classes for years striving to refine their work.

This is an excellent opportunity for the public to buy exceptional and unusual handmade fine craft and art at very reasonable prices!

Who The Fundraiser Benefits:
Brookhaven’s Student Art Club- 20% of sales goes to scholarships, and to bring artists to campus for workshops/demos.
.
So Don’t Be Tardy For This Party!
The tables will be piled high with treasure. Have An Individualist to buy a gift for? Love to wear handmade jewelry or decorate your home with unique, beautiful or funky finds? Want to experience cutting-edge creativity?
I’ll be there with you, lining up, waiting for the doors to open!
