Afterwards, join us for a bus tour of the artwork on the parkway led by the artist, Norie Sato.
Located along an eight and a half mile stretch of the Chisholm Trail Parkway, these stunning glass and stone mosaic murals were inspired by images of Trinity River wildlife taken by eighteen local photographers. Commissioned by the City of Fort Worth through Fort Worth Public Art, the artwork is a visual reminder to motorists of the rich natural ecosystem that exists alongside the built human environment.
The ceremony will be held on the Old Vickery Bridge, near the intersection of N. University Drive and W. Vickery Boulevard.
Parking is available at 1300 S. University Drive. A shuttle bus will be available starting at 9:30 am to transport attendees to the ceremony; attendees please arrive early for shuttle service. Pedestrian access also available from 1300 S. University Drive.
