Marius Silaghi is an artist living and working in Dallas, Texas.  He emigrated from Romania and some of the images are from his time in Eastern Europe.  However place is not an important feature of these photographs.  They are strong universal images of simple objects from the natural and industrial worlds.  His focus is to capture a moment of time in which the simplest detail of texture, light, contrast, and atmosphere is captured as a photograph.  It is through an experience of the photograph that Silaghi invites viewers to create their own art experience, a portal to a moment of simplicity.
Haley-Henman Gallery at Gallery 422 is located in the Trinity Groves neighborhood in Dallas at 422 Singleton Boulevard. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday, noon to 5 pm and by appointment.  Please call or text 214-532-3225 for more information
