Fiberlicious! 2017 Dallas Area Fiber Artists Annual Show features one-of-a-kind works of art made from fiber materials and techniques including quilting, felting, weaving, embroidering, crocheting, needlepointing, dyeing, printing, sewing, knotting, beading, painting, and collaging.
OBTAINIUM 2017 Dallas Area Fiber Artists Members’ Challenge is a tribute to fiber artist Betty Smith, whose estate has generously donated an assortment of African Wax Print fabrics.
OBTAINIUM is fiber art created from supplies that can be had for little or no cost.
Members were asked to create a piece of fiber art for the show based on their selection of a donated African Wax Print fabric. The art can be a sculpture, wall hanging, quilt, garment, 3-D art, etc.
