Betsey Gravatt creates non-objective, mixed media 2D and 3D work that can be seen as either inviting or repelling, depending upon one’s interpretation.


Focus Gallery Two: Constructs: Interiors and Landscapes
Gladys Poorte’s work represents interiors and landscapes which are the product of a long process of construction.  They originate from an impression, a light or a shadow observed in a fleeting moment, an intriguing object or two, a corner of a space, an event I observe.

ART7’s 2017 Call For Art & Artists in Residence

The ART7 Community Gallery, a satellite gallery to the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, cordially invites all creative people, makers, creators, and world-shakers of any and every medium and manner to submit their works for our 2017 season. We also are providing the opportunity to apply to become one of our first two Artist in Residence during 2017. Our themes and further information can be found at:

 

The ART7 Community Gallery, a satellite gallery to the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, cordially invites all creative people, makers, creators, and world-shakers of any and every medium and manner to submit their art and apply for the opportunity to become one of our TWO ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE for ART7’s 2017 Season.

We’ve got the time and  s p a c e.

All we need is you.

Equal consideration will be given to emerging and established artists alike, so dream big!
Ultimately, ART7 wants to showcase the creation process from conception to communal collaboration to the finished product. Art is an evolution that takes time, and more than anything, we want to expose the community to that process. This is the time to have a meaningful and multi-layered cultural exchange between people of all manners.
