Jonesy McConnell and Herb Reed will lead the live auction that will start around 7:15 PM after the intro business part of the meeting.  The following Artists have contributed original paintings to be auctioned off to the highest bidder.  Good luck!

The Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington offers classes, crop parties and a vendor faire for scapbooking and craft supplies. Location: Arlington Convention Center, 1200 Ballpark Way, Arlington, TX 76011

Thursday

Classes – 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
Early Entrance for Vendor Faire – 9 am; included in GASC All Access Pass Special (or purchase for $10 onsite)
Vendor Faire open for shopping – 10 am to 5 pm; $12 at the door ($10 with online coupon)
Thursday Night Crop – 7 to 11:30 pm

Friday
Classes – 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
Vendor Faire open for shopping – 9 am to 5 pm; $12 at the door ($10 with online coupon)
Friday Character Crop – 7 pm to 11:30 pm

Saturday
Classes – 9:00 am to 8:00 pm

The weekend we’ve all been looking forward to since last year is finally here!  In less than 48 hours, y’all will be here and ready to take some awesome classes, shop, swap stitch markers, shop, listen to a great speaker and get books signed, shop, meet up with new and old friends, shop…

Speaking of shopping, we have a very important announcement for those of you formulating your plan of attack on the Vendor Hall. Due to unavoidable circumstances, some of our Vendors are in different booths from what you may have researched.

A few tickets are still available for our Friday Night Event, “Mending Through the Ages” with Sivia Harding at the Dallas Marriott Las Colinas.

Immediately following Sivia’s talk, Susan B. Anderson, Romi Hill, Laura Nelkin, and The Shibaguyz – Shannon & Jason Mullett-Bowlsby – will be available to sign books and chat with their fans.
Bring your books for them to sign that night. If you don’t have them yet, some of their books will be available for purchase on-site.

Whether you are a listener, a podcaster, or are just curious to hear more, please join us for an informal meet up near the huge potted plant in the lobby of the Irving Convention Center Saturday April 2 at 1pm.

We still have several great classes available!  On-site registration will be available beginning Friday morning!
Notices and Reminders for DFW Fiber Fest Students
  • Don’t Forget to Check on Your Supplies and Homework!
  • Remember that your Student ID/Name Badge will get you in the Vendor Hall all weekend – not just the day(s) you take classes.  So check in at the Student Registration Desk first thing!
 
Student Check-In
  • Thursday Evening – Check-in opens at 5-7 pm 
  • Friday & Saturday – Check-in opens at 8:30 am
  • Sunday – Check-in opens at 8:45 am
New for us this year, if you get to town early and want to get your Student Goody Bag and Nametags, we will have the Student Registration Desk open at the Convention Center on ThursdayEvening from 5-7 pm (No, you will not be allowed in the Vendor Hall that night – but it should help you get a jump on the wholeFriday morning crowd!)
