Visual Arts in Allen for October

Allen Arts Alliance Celebrates the Arts and Humanities in Allen

The Allen Arts Alliance, and the city of Allen, join thousands of arts organizations and communities across the nation to celebrate National Arts and Humanities Month throughout October. The Allen Arts Alliance, our local arts and cultural organizations and schools will be partnering through activities that honor and share the efforts of artists, historians, teachers, and cultural groups working to make the arts and humanities a part of daily life in Allen.

The City of Allen City Council will be adopting a Proclamation in honor of National Arts and Humanities Month at the October 10th City Council Meeting. Everyone is encouraged to participate, through our local arts organizations, in what has become the country’s largest annual collective celebration of the arts and humanities. Attached is a list of some of programs and events taking place this October in Allen.
