The irving Art Association offers three free painting groups, plus sponsors a fourth at the local library. With the exception of the library group, they meet at the Jaycee Park Center for the Arts, 1975 Puritan, Irving 75061. For more about the groups see Painting Groups.
The Friday Open Art Night is held on the second and fourth Friday evenings of the month. The hours are 6:30 – 9:30pm and usually six to eight artists and crafters attend.
A group project is usually planned, but participation is voluntary — you may bring anything to work on. Come and enjoy the fellowship of other artists and learn from each other!

The Sunday Painters & Crafters Group for Adults meets every third Sunday afternoon at the West Irving Library meeting room (1:30 – 4:30 pm — corner of Rochelle & Esters).
The January 19th meeting topic with be Alcohol Inks on Yupo, but you may work on whatever you wish. Meeting leader will be Sharon Giles, so contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org or 21-288-1232 for supplies information. She will bring a supply of Yupo, the plastic paper.
