CALL FOR ART EXHIBITION PROPOSALS
We invite artists to submit a proposal to exhibit or curate an exhibition at the Bernice Coulter Templeton Art Studio Gallery. The Gallery begins its second year September 2018. The Bernice Coulter Templeton Art Studio Gallery is the main exhibition space at Texas Wesleyan University. Along with serving as a teaching tool, the gallery exhibits the works of students, faculty, local, regional, and national artists. Most exhibits include an artist lecture and reception, allowing the artists to connect with both students and the community. Exhibitions are free and open to the public. The University Art Gallery invites proposals for solo, group and curated exhibitions. An Art Exhibition Committee, made up of community members, art professionals and art faculty will review all submitted proposals. Three exhibition proposals are accepted each academic year. Specific installation, reception, artist lecture and breakdown dates are dependent on the University’s Academic Calendar.
