CALL FOR ARTISTS – Fort Worth Music and Arts Festival

The 3rd annual Fort Worth Music Festival will be held Friday, May 17th & Saturday, May 18th at Panther Island Pavilion. We cordially invite you to apply to participate in this two-day music and arts event.
In 2012, an eclectic group of over 30 artists participated in the event and 22 bands performed on two stages for nonstop music. Over 7,500 art and music fans came out for the event, and an even larger turn out is projected for 2013.

April 12th – Application Deadline
April 17th – Notifications
April 19th – Announce Visual Artists
May 8th – Booth Fees Due
May 17th & 18th – Festival

Awards & Prizes:
The winning artist selected by the jury will have their entry fee waved. Additionally, all accepted artists are eligible for the “People’s Choice Award,” a cash prize. Regular stage announcements will encourage music fans to view “The Art Gallery” and vote for their favorite artist. Both awards will be announced and presented Saturday on the Main Stage.

How to apply:
Please note: The 2013 application process is online. The forms are downloadable online, and once complete, they should be emailed to info@fwfest.com

1) Download and fill out an application from http://www.fwfest.com/visual-artist-application/
2) Prepare three jpeg image of three different art pieces. Your name should not appear anywhere on the image. Images should be at least 150 dpi but no greater than 5MB.
3) Email a copy of the completed application and three jpeg images to info@fwfest.com with the subject “2013 FWMF Art Application.”

Additional Information:
If selected, each artist will receive a 12 x 10 space at the event.
Each participant will be expected to pay a $300 booth fee upon acceptance into the festival.
