Members of Irving Art Association and local photographers are invited to participate in an exhibit at the West Irving Library. The exhibit will be on view July 30 through Sept. 24, 2016. There is no fee to participate.
All subjects are allowed, although we would like to feature a good collection of Irving subjects. Keep in mind that the Library is a family venue (no nudes.) Limit: 3 entries.
Photographs should be framed and wired for hanging, and should not exceed ten pounds in weight. Photos printed on wrap around canvas are also acceptable. No smaller than 8×10 (unless part of a larger photo-collage).
The exhibit will be limited to 29 works, so reserve your space by contacting Sharon Giles at firstname.lastname@example.org or 972-570-7565. Bring your work on Saturday, July 30 between 10am and 1pm. The West Irving Library is located at 4444 W. Rochelle, Irving TX 75062 (near the intersection of Rochelle & Esters.)
Coming in 2017 – In planning – a photography competition to be held at the Jaycee Park Center for the Arts (with a traveling exhibit moving to the West Irving Library later). There will be awards, but entry will not be free.
