The 11th Annual Wildlife National Juried Art Competition Reception and Awards was held on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the Jaycee Park Center for the Arts in Irving. The Wildlife Show was established in 2002 when the hippopotamus sculptures by by David Iles were commissioned by Irving Art Association. Juror of the show is James R. Spurlock, who will be the demo artist at the Oct. 23rd IAA meeting.
Selected artwork from the show will travel to the West Irving Library for the first 2012 Wildlife Art Traveling Show, where it will be on view October 27th through December 1st.
