 What: Fiber Workshop
When: Saturday, August 11, 10am-2pm Where: Art Hotel Gallery @ 1112 S Akard, Dallas, TX Website: http://ahacollective.weebly.com Come join us for a chance to create your own fiber ‘Painting’! All are welcome, whether beginner or expert.
The workshop will be led by local fiber artist Laurie Mahoney, whose felt artworks have been displayed in various galleries throughout the metroplex. Laurie will show you how she creates her felt paintings, and walk you through the fun process. Each participant will create a 10” by 10” piece during the 4-hour class, and can choose to have their finished piece joined together with other artists’ pieces, and submitted for display consideration at Art Hotel Gallery. Workshop fee is $10 per person for fiber and supplies - or $20 if you want to keep your individual piece and choose not to participate in the collaborative fiber painting.
