Call for Entries: MADE IN AMERICA 
From Skippy peanut butter to Coca Cola, America produces many things that are not just manufactured on US soil. Products of the US come in many shapes and sizes... education, health and welfare systems, American pride, football, apple pie, outsourced jobs, religious views, freedom of speech, etc. 
What does “Made in America” mean to you?

ELIGIBILITY: The competition is open to all artists, working in all media. All forms of painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, graphics, digital and installation art, video, etc. are eligible. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. All entries must be original works completed within the last two years.

ENTRY:  Artists may submit up to 3 images. There is a $10 non-refundable entry fee (for up to 3 entries).  

            Deadline for entry: July 28, 2012, 12pm Central Time.

            Entries must be submitted via email to: arthotelentry@gmail.com
            Suggested file size 72-150 dpi, not to exceed 2MG (larger files will not be viewed)
            Include the following in the subject of your email:

                        Your name, address, phone, email, website

            Label images as follows: lastname_firstinitial_number_title.jpg

 

Mail $10 entry fee to: Art Hotel-Made in America, 1112 S Akard, Dallas, TX 75215. 

Entry fee to be received no later than July 28 (not a postmark date).  Check or money order payable to: Johanna Hulsey Art.

NOTIFICATION: Artists will be notified of acceptance via email by August 13, 2012.

ART DROP OFF:  Accepted artwork must be delivered in person to Art Hotel Gallery, 1112 S. Akard St. Dallas Texas on August 25 at the times designated in the acceptance email. 

OPENING RECEPTION:  Saturday, September 8, 2012. 7-9 pm - Art Hotel Gallery, 1112 S. Akard St. in Dallas.
