The Visual Art League of Lewisville will host the “Fresh Ideas” opening reception on Saturday, July 7 at 7 p.m. in the main art gallery of the Medical Center of Lewisville Grand (MCL Grand). The event will showcase the talents of artists from the greater Lewisville area.
The reception will include music, hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. The “Fresh Ideas” exhibit will be on display from Saturday, July 7 to Saturday, Aug. 11 in the MCL Grand Art Gallery. The show will feature various forms of art. Submissions often include photography, sculpture and paintings.
The reception gives local residents a chance to speak with participating artists, members and other local art enthusiasts. Bill Barber, owner of Premier Gallery in Flower Mound, will judge the entries for this year's competition.
