"FOR ALL THINGS THERE IS A SEASON "

The Faith and Arts Trustees of Royal Lane Baptist Church extend to you an invitation to participate in our second Art Festival this coming September. The theme for the show is "For All Things there is a Season", based on Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, which invites you to explore the visual and spiritual richness of this passage through the creation of of new and original works of art. Works on canvas, water-media on paper, drawings and pastels, collage, graphic design, textiles, photography, three-dimensional works, etc., may be submitted for adjudication. No computer-generated art will be accepted in this show. Work submitted must be new original artwork or that which you have produced within the last 3 years. You should be able to attend the events associated with the festival.

You will submit with each work a statement of 100 words or less relating your inspiration for the creation of your work relative to the theme of this show. Please indicate the name of the piece to which the text relates. This is an integral part of the selection process.
