Chapter 3 of Chapman Kelley's Memoirs in now available on the Dallas Art History Blog at dallasarthistory.com.

     In the first two chapters of his memoirs, Kelley tells of his early life, training and extensive preparation for a life as a painter and vital force in the Renaissance years of the Dallas art world, the 1950s and 1960s. 
     In chapter 3 we learn of the successes of his students and the beginning of the James H. Clark art collection and the inception in Dallas of "The Troubles," as the Irish term their ongoing problems and struggles.
