Selected Projects in Classical Drawing and Painting

A Private Class Taught by William Patterson

To all artists and students who wish to learn how to draw and paint with the knowledge of the Classical Masters.

I am planning a private Atelier class beginning this September - Projects in Classical Drawing and Painting. The cost is $35.00 for each 3 ½ hr. session. The times will be on Tuesdays and/or Fridays. The class will be limited to eight participants and run for fourteen weeks.

You will be able to select from a variety of my drawing and painting projects that are geared to teach you the fundamentals in Classical Drawing and Painting. I will conduct drawing and painting demonstrations, slide talks on the master’s and one to one teaching. If you follow up for three hours each week working on you own outside of class you should make considerable progress.

In consultation with me, you can start at the very beginning or select projects that are more advanced. Some of you may need to go back and relearn what you missed in various drawing and painting courses throughout your career. Unlike a traditional drawing or painting course, you work at your own pace. You will have the luxury and time to master a project before moving on to another. Some of you who have studied with me or work on a more advanced level may choose from the list of projects and/ or work on your painting independently.
