To understand Faces, and Features you need to understand the 3 C's Carriage, Construction and Character. During the morning sessions Michael will demonstrate the construction and planes of the head exploring the major and minor features that give the head and face its individual character. The afternoon sessions will focus on drawing from the model with individual, hands-on, critiques given at the end of each day. Michael received his formal education at; The American Academy of Art in Chicago, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, The Layton School of Art in Milwaukee, and Washington University in Saint Louis, B.F.A., M.F.A., M.A. Michael taught at Washington University for several years early in his career and has instructed hundreds of students at the Society of Figurative Arts in Dallas of which he is the Founder and Director
