Kate Wickham - June 13 Exhibit and Reception at THE magazine

THE magazine DFW is hosting an exhibition of "Cages" series by Kate Wickham.  These are allegories for the limitations we create for ourselves, using circus animals and performers as the inspiration.  Recoginizing the barriers we erect allows us to find the key to freedom.

Reception, Saturday June 13 from 5-10 pm
THE magazine DFW office:  408 W. Eighth Street, Dallas, in The Bishop Arts District
THE magazine DFW phone: 214-946-6200

Elisabeth Schalij - June 21 Salon

You are cordially invited to visit with Elisabeth Schalij on Sunday, June 21 from 3-5 pm as she shares her techniques and processes.  She uses actual flowers and foliage to create her embelished prints.  Usually we associate prints with multiple copies of each image, but Elisabeth creates unique pieces.

Deanna Wood - June 25 Encaustic Demonstration

Join us for a demonsration by Deanna Wood on Thursday, June 25 starting at 6:30 pm in our classroom (immediately behind the gallery building).  Deanna is well know for teaching encaustic techniques throughout Texas and recently opened The Encaustic Center with her partner Bonny Leibowitz at 580 W. Arapaho, Richardson.

Deanna currently has an exhibition of her work in the two front rooms of Eclectic Expressions gallery, so plan to come early or stay late to also view the show.  Light refreshments will be served in the gallery prior to the demonstration.
