"The invention of the camera ushered in a new genre of art that was primarily documentary in nature. Some images have been so powerful that they have come to
define the era or moment in history they depict. As photographers began to broaden their perspective and concentrate not just on the documentation of events, the genre of fine art photography was born. In recent years the development of digital technology has created an exciting new genre of artistic expression. Artists are now using digital technology to produce entirely computer-generated paintings. Others are creating work from digitally manipulated photographs or scanned drawings. This show offers TVAA photographers and digital artists an opportunity to share their most diverse and creative artistic endeavors, produced by whatever photographic or digital means they prefer. Subject matter is open, and each artist is invited to submit three entries."
