Walt Davis demo on April 2 for Association of Grand Prairie Artists

Activities will begin at 6:30 pm on Monday,  April 2nd at the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce.
Walt Davis, signature member and past president of the Southwestern Watercolor Society, began painting in watercolor over thirty years ago.

Mr. Davis has taught watercolor, figure drawing, and plein air sketching at Eastfield Community College, Amarillo College, Panhandle Art Center, San Angelo Museum of Art, and in his studio in Commerce. He has conducted demonstrations and workshops in Amarillo, Brownsville, Dallas, San Angelo and nine other Texas cities.   His work is frequently exhibited in local galleries.

He believes that watercolor delivers a more luminous color than any other medium.    Most of his work is inspired by the beauty of nature and the natural world.   Samples of his recent work are attached.   You can find more about him at www.waltdavisart.com .
