Doug Prine western demo Sept. 19 in Grand Prairie

September meeting of the Association of Grand Prairie Artists will begin at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, September 19th  at the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce.  
The program will be a demonstration by renowned, award winning master western artist, Doug Prine.   His work hangs in private collections in almost every state.   Having been a cowhand, reinactor and rodeo participant,  Doug prides himself in the authenticity of his representation of frontier life.  Earlier in life, he served as a combat artist in Vietnam .   After the Army, Prine attended Kansas City Art Institute and worked as an llustrator for the government before becoming a full time artist. He currently lives in Nemo , Tx with his wife Toni.
