Maureen Brouillette will give an explanation of the art critique process and critique paintings of members at the meeting of the Irving Art Association. Date: Tuesday, February 26th at 7pm. Location: Jaycee Park Center for the Arts. directions
Maureen will also explain how a critique group works, and why it is helpful to development of an artist. Her approach is always kind and positive. She understands the principles of composition and design and teaches it with humor.

Ms. Brouillette is an accomplished artist and an enthusiastic teacher. She has been featured in The Artist’s Magazine and Watercolor Artist magazine and has received numerous awards in national juried exhibits, as well as Best of Show twice at the Southwestern Watercolor Society Member Show. Maureen has work in corporate collections, including a recent acquisition by Rutgers University. She has two paintings, Organics I and II, which were featured nationwide by Crate and Barrel. Brouillette previously worked for 25 years as a commercial designer and art director. She now teaches classes and workshops, does demos and critiques, and judges art shows.
