For the third year, wild and domestic animal artwork were combined beautifully into one show, the 14th annual event hosted by Irving Art Association featuring animal art. Artwork and photography from 68 artists came from all across the country, selected by juror Helen Bailey. Drawings, pastels, watercolors, oils, acrylics and mixed media are represented in this exciting collection.
The show opened Sunday, August 30th and runs until Sept. 24th at the Jaycee Park Center for the Arts. Gallery hours are Sun., Mon., & Wed., from 1 to 4 p.m. and Tues. & Thurs., from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The Awards Reception was held on Sunday afternoon, September 13 from 2-4pm.
For Reception & Award photos, check the IAA Photo Album – they will be posted soon. For pictures of the award-winning art, see the Winners Gallery at http://irvingartassociation.org/2015/09/winners-of-the-2015-14th-annual-wildlife-and-domestic-animal-art-show/
