OPENING RECEPTION:
SATURDAY OCTOBER 20, 5:00-7:00PM

Voyeur of the Mundane explores the snapshots of life often overlooked, featuring works made from the 1970s to the present by some of North Texas’ most reputable contemporary artists, who are all also longtime friends. Steve Dennie, featured photographer and curator of the exhibition, describes the subject nature of the exhibit as what is usually “between frames in a movie, and what your eye typically deletes from memory.” Each artist romanticizes the typically depressing in his or her own signature method and distinctive aesthetic.
