Bivins Gallery is proud to present Tom Holland: Birds and Water from October 27 through December 2, 2017.
Tom Holland’s paintings and freestanding paintings are inspired by natural elements of California, where the artist currently resides. The sinuous forms and organic colors of his work call to mind the landscape and scenery of the celebrated artist’s surroundings. A distinguished American artist, Holland’s works on aluminum and fiberglass have brought him critical acclaim and can be seen in the permanent collections of the Whitney, MoMa, the Hirshhorn, and the Guggenheim, among many others. He is a globally recognized artist who has been the subject of solo exhibitions throughout the world.
The solo exhibition will be unveiled at Bivins Gallery with an opening reception on Friday, October 27 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at which the celebrated artist will be present. Complimentary valet parking will be provided for the opening and for all guests of Bivins Gallery during normal business hours.
