The H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery Presents Advanced Student Work
(DALLAS) — The H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery at El Centro College presents “Studio/Active: Advanced Studio Exhibition” from November 16 – December 8.
The H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery at El Centro College announces its annual exhibition of advanced student work, “Studio/Active: Advanced Studio Exhibition.” Seven student artists have been chosen from our program, representing the best from the advanced studio courses at El Centro.
Media submitted includes figure drawing, painting, printmaking, sticker/street art, digital imaging, and mixed media sculpture. The goal of this exhibition is to foster professional practices in the work of our advanced fine art students, and as such, they will each prepare artist statements and a short gallery talk for the reception to be heldThursday, November 19 from 4-6 p.m.
Student artists in this year’s exhibition include:
- Faith Alexander – painting
- Carmen Barajas – mixed media sculpture
- Cesar Duarte – drawing
- Christopher Machorro – sticker/street art
- Keolalea Menaul – printmaking
- Liz Romero – digital imaging
- Amy Werntz – figure drawing
