Meet the Juror: Soon Y Warren
You’re invited to the Irving Art Association’s Juror Reception on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. at the Irving Arts Center.
The juror for the 31st Texas and Neighbors Regional Art Exhibition is SOON Y. WARREN. She will comment on the jury process and her art, and slides of the 80 accepted entries (out of 499!) will be shown. Guests are welcome and refreshments will be served.
Soon Y. Warren is an award-winning artist

What would you do if you weren’t afraid to fail?
That’s the question filmmakers Sarah Moshman and Dana Michelle Cook asked themselves before embarking on a 7,000 mile road trip across the US with a group of all female filmmakers in 2013. .
The result of this incredible journey was an award-winning feature-length documentary entitled The Empowerment Project: Ordinary Women Doing Extraordinary Things. It will be shown at 1 p.m. on March 12 at Irving Arts Center in celebration of Women’s History Month and in conjunction withSmithsonian’s Museum Day Live.
