Southwestern Watercolor Society Members to Participate in WFWS 43rd in Tucson

The Western Federation of Watercolor Societies (WFWS) is an organization comprised of 11 watercolor groups from across the western United States. SWS is the most easterly located society. WFWS was started by Dr. David Gale in New Mexico in 1976 and spread to a society in Colorado, California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Arizona ( 2 societies), and Texas ( 2 societies). Each year a different society hosts the annual Exhibition, Delegates Board Meeting, and social events. SWS will host WFWS49 in 2024.
In 2018 WFWS43 will be held in Tucson, AZ May 1st through June 24th. Jurored by the acclaimed nationally recognized artist Ted Nuttall, the 100 selected paintings include 17 works by the following SWS members —
