“Eastern Impressions” Exhibit: April 1 – May 30

PAA will be hosting a major two-month-long event featuring exhibits, demonstrations, presentations and pageantry by local Chinese arts groups. This will be an exciting opportunity for members to experience art from an Eastern perspective. The event is titled, “Eastern Impressions” and is at the new North Texas Center for Performing Arts in Willow Bend Mall.
The Plano Art Association is sponsoring “EASTERN IMPRESSIONS,” a special art exhibition of the works of Chinese artists in North Texas. It is being held during the months of April and May in the North Texas Performing Arts Center at Willow Bend Mall in West Plano.

This exhibition is an example of how Plano Art Association strives to fulfill its mission of providing artists in the community the opportunity to exhibit their work. The Chinese art community has enthusiastically embraced participating in this special exhibition. It is being staged with the full collaboration of four area art organizations in addition to Plano Art Association:

North Texas Asian Photographers Association
Fusion Art Group
Volunteers Promoting Chinese Culture
Dallas Chinese Art Association
“Plano will experience a unique treat to see this very interesting exhibit. These artists and photographers are amazing in the dazzling style and quality of the art they create,” said Ken Wheatley, Plano Art Association Board Member.
“We greatly appreciate Plano Art Association’s effort to showcase the cultural diversity in our local community. Our artists feel energized and included in the art community of Plano, and look forward to contributing more to the diverse local art scene,” stated Heather Wang, member of Plano Art Association Advisory Council.
