OJAI Junket opening Sept. 24 – a triple threat tour of Dallas art!

OJAI Joint Administrative Intelligence Junket

  • When: Sunday, September 24, 4-6 PM
  • Where: 500X, The Box Company, Ro2 Art

Chris Dreier and Gary Farrelly’s farcical bureaucratic agency, The Office for Joint Administrative Intelligence (OJAI) has invaded Dallas with two shows, Fruit Efficiency at Ro2 Art and A Hard Place at 500X Gallery. If you haven’t had a chance to see the brilliant work of the bureaucracy in action yet, now may be your last chance, as both shows are drawing to a close this Sunday.

Luckily, Ro2 Art, 500X, and The Box Company have teamed up to bring you an exciting triple threat tour of both OJAI shows, plus Ro2 Artist Julie Libersat’s show with Nic Mathis, Intersections, at The Box Company. It will be a wild ride filled with bureaucracy, architecture, roads, and postcards. Our first stop will be at 500X at 4:00 PM to see A Hard Place, a celebration of brutalist architecture curated by Gundula Schmitz of Laura Mars Gallery (Berlin) and Gary Farrelly. From there we will venture to The Box Company to check out Julie Libersat and Nic Mathis’ show, Intersections, which centers around roads, intersections, and all things paved. Our final stop will be at Ro2 Art to see Fruit Efficiency, a show featuring Chris Dreier and Gary Farrelly’s fictitious, bureaucratic corporation, OJAI. We hope you will join us on this artistic junket across Dallas to see these three important shows before they close!
