Extended Hours Through The Holidays
Again this year we will be open on Sunday afternoons between 11 – 5 from Thanksgivinguntil Christmas.
The Ornament Extravaganza continues… Drop in for our traditional cookies and eggnog. The celebration will continue through the month of December.
Both the Gallery and the Studio will be closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
We will be closing early at 4pm both Christmas Eve andNew Year’s Eve.
We Have A New Home!
A quick reminder for those of you who have not yet visited us at our new location… We are still in the Village on the Parkway, but are now in suite #510 at the south end of the center across from the new AMC Theater. If you have trouble finding us, just give us a call and we’ll get you here!
There is parking right out in front of our new space and also around our neighbors on both sides — plus a huge garage….
In the evenings there will be a valet out front. We have arranged for Kittrell Riffkind guests to have free valet service — just tell them that you’re coming to see us and you’ll be good to go. And no tips.
It’s So Hard To Find That Perfect Thing…
The holidays are fast approaching and we know it can be difficult to find something ‘new’ for that hard to buy for person on your list.
Here are some ideas of unusual gifts that not only make us smile but will make your gift giving fun!
Glass candy cane drink swizzles
Snowmen with cowboy hat ornaments
Glow in the dark heart paperweights
Glass Skull key rings
Flying pig ornaments
Orchids that never stop blooming
Tutti Fruiti goblets
Ball gown flower vases
Red cardinal earrings
Still can’t decide? How about a gift certificate and a date for you to take them on an outing for shopping and lunch?
|Recipe of the Month|
Deborah’s Chocolate Souffle Pudding
“Tis the Season for parties and celebrations with friends and family — a time for treasured traditions and extra special goodies to eat.
This year I thought I would share with you a recipe from our good friend glass artistDeborah Wood who hales from the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Australia. A talented baker, she is known far and wide for her deliciousChocolate Souffle Pudding which she serves friends and family during the holidays and on special occasions.
These souffles call for castor sugar, but not to worry — you can make it yourself or buy it in specialty stores (or online..). I found mine at Central Market.
Deborah assures me that it is easy and foolproof…. And divinely delicious! I plan to have serve it on Christmas — wish that she and hubby Bruce could be with us to enjoy the day…
