Fireworks Fundraiser on July 3
Celebrate Independence Day at the Guild!
One of top fireworks shows in the nation takes place here every year – and the Guild has the best seats in the house! We’re located just across Midway from the fireworks display, and we’re saving our prime seats (and restroom availability) for our members and guests.
Join us for a special fireworks fundraiser event just for friends of the Craft Guild:
– Tuesday, July 3
– 6:30 p.m.
– Free admission
– Food and beverage sales benefit the Guild
– Bring your own lawn chairs
– Family and friends are welcome (please RSVP)
Tumblers and Tacos
Ceramic tumblers are being created by the Clay Department for sale at the event (proceeds will go towards Clay Department enhancements). Perfect for keeping your summer beverages cool, these tumblers will become one of your favorite collectibles.
Street tacos, corn, and brownie sundaes will be available for purchase, as well as soft drinks and water; all proceeds benefit the Guild. Drinks will be available at 6:30 p.m., dinner at seven, and the fun until the fireworks are over.
Reserve your space(s) by clicking here
to access our evite and let us know if you’re coming and how many people you are bringing; we want to make sure we have enough food and beverages for everyone.
Great seats, fabulous food, and the best seat in the house for the fireworks – this is an Independence Day celebration you won’t want to miss!
Getting Better All the Time
Moving into our new location has been a terrific experience in getting better all the time – every month, something new is being added or enhanced!
This month, the gas lines for Clay and for Metals are being run, giving our clay kilns and metals torches the gas needed to create great art.
Clay folks: we can’t wait to start showcasing your great art coming out of our kilns! Make sure you’re following us on facebook as we feature the fabulous work from our kiln openings.
Metals students: soon you’ll have the convenience of gas at your work station – faster finishing, faster creations of your terrific designs! Share them on instagram and hashtag #craftguild so we can share the excitement.
Still a Few Spots Left in our Summer Camps!
Barrie Curtsinger, head of the Clay Department, shows a young artist how to throw a bowl.
Summer is upon us, but we have a few spaces still available in our summer camps for young artists. Our children’s summer camps start on June 4, with activities for artists ages 5 – 18.
We also offer a supervised lunch option, so your child can stay and create all day at the Guild this summer. Sign up now to give your young artist an amazing summer learning experience!
Mark Your Calendars for the Fall Show and Sale
Our event guests and artists are already asking for the dates of our popular Fall Show and Sale after the success of the Spring Show and Sale in our new location.
Good news – mark your calendars for the first weekend in November!
The Guild’s Fall Show and Sale will be on November 1 – 4, at the same location as our spring show (just steps from our new studios).
