Tree House Divided brings together various aspects from the individual pieces produced by artist, Jessica Fuentes, over the past decade – isolation, layering, repetition, place, memory, time, dreams and distortion. The imagery found in these works is inspired by childhood dreams and recent memories. Each body of work – large-scale photographs, transparency prints and accompanying zine, and the installation – utilizes different methods to explore how memories and meanings transform as they become layered over the years.
