ARTshop Opens Just in Time for Gallery Night    ARTshop Logo

The Fort Worth Community Arts Center is pleased to announce the opening of ARTshop, a small gift shop comprised of FWCAC promotional items and small artist-made pieces. The shop has original jewelry, ceramics, glass, weavings, woodwork, metalwork, wearable art, handmade prints and cards, photography and other fine art and craft works all created by local artists.  Come see the wonderful items in the shop and discover what you can’t live without!

FOCUS GALLERY ONE: air wind sand       water  

Artist Mona Marshall’s project started with a coastline. She explores her thinking about coastlines and about the boundaries of our own knowledge of the world. Standing on that coastline we have no way of knowing from sight what we do not know.  MORE


Colby Parsons’ work explores the associations we all have with the ordinary objects we encounter every day.  Each of these works presents something from the artist’s life rendered in stoneware, with video imagery projected onto the surface. MORE

Artist Anna Ford turns to her art not only as a coping mechanism to come to terms with the debilitating condition of hereditary migraines, but also to make the public aware of this neurological disease. MORE

In The Eye of the Beholder: Inspiration in Fiber

This textile exhibit will feature a wide variety of items woven in the past two years by the more than 70 Guild members from the greater Fort Worth area, some of whom have been weaving for over 50 years.  MORE

The Best of Texas Clay

Best of Texas Clay is an exhibition for clay artists by clay artists, featuring 50 amazing ceramic artists from across Texas. MORE

This series of works from three artists reflect a myriad of personal memories, overwhelming imagery, emotion and fantasy in a series of sculptures and paintings. MORE

Day in the District

Nine cultural destinations will offer free admission and many of Fort Worth’s cultural organizations will offer free performances in and around each destination. We welcome you to enjoy the rich cultural experiences that Fort Worth has to offer during the seventh annual Day in the District, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free transportation within the Cultural District will be provided by The Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T). MORE
